Central Wildflowers – 2021

Our landscape quietly changes as developers expand construction projects and natural green space disappears.  Little notice is taken of these wildflowers commonly found on the side of the roads and highways or in abandoned fields. If their extinction should come someday soon, I wonder who will mourn the subtle poetry of their existence; the simplicity of their wildness. I wonder who will remember them.
